NEW OUTDOOR ARTIFICIAL NETS COMPLETE!!
Thanks to a grant from
Littlewoods aswell as the generosity of a number of club members, the club is proud to announce that works are now complete
on the construction of two new state of the art artificial outdoor cricket bays. Situated in the southeast corner of the ground,
this fantastic facility will be ready for full use at the end of March.
A massive thanks must
go to everyone who has worked tirelessly over the past year to make this happen, and a special thank you to those who have
helped finance the project- we are very grateful.
SIZZLER GOES WITH A BANG!!
Thank you to everyone who helped
to make The End of Season Sizzler such a huge success. Over 100 guests enjoyed a great night which included a succulent
Hog Roast, music, prize giving, raffle, silent auction, photos with the C&G trophy, and a suitably late bar!!

Finishing in the early hours, with the bravest few stumbling
back to their tents and the more sensible falling into waiting taxi's, all woke up the next morning knowing they'd had
a fantastic night, even though many were tentatively reaching for the paracetamol!!

Congratualtions to every one who picked up
awards during the evening- a full list will be available on the website very soon. Colts Chairman Frank Register spoke of
the huge talent that is emerging form our blossoming colts section, and we all wait in greta anticipation for the coming years,
whhen these juniors will nop doubt be setting the county (if not the national circuit) alight!!
Whilst the season is over for 2006, there
is still a busy calendar of events during the winter, including a quiz night, 'night at the dogs', reindeer racing, and a
Christmas Party. Please check the diary page of this website for further details.
Everyone is always welcome. We would like to invite members,
friends and family to come along and join in the fun!! There's alot more to A.C.C than JUST cricket!!
